Your 30 monthly articles reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over. If you generate only 20 articles in a given month, the remaining 10 are not carried into the next period. Plan your content calendar accordingly to get the most from your allowance.

Spyro offers a 3-day free trial so you can explore the platform before committing. During the trial you can generate up to 3 blog articles and see how citation monitoring works on your domain.

The trial does not auto-charge you when it ends. You only start paying if you actively add a payment method. There’s no card required to begin the trial — just sign up at spyro.app/signup.

14-day money-back guarantee

If you start a paid plan and decide Spyro isn’t the right fit, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your first charge. Email [e-mail] with your account email and a brief note, and the team will process your refund promptly — no lengthy questionnaires required.

How billing works

Spyro’s billing is processed by Dodo Payments, who acts as the Merchant of Record. This means Dodo Payments handles all sales tax, GST, and VAT calculations and remittance on your behalf — you don’t need to worry about regional tax compliance.

• Monthly plans renew automatically on the same calendar date each month.
• Annual plans are billed upfront in full at the time of purchase and renew after 12 months.
• You’ll receive an emailed receipt after every successful charge.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, Spyro retries the charge automatically over the following days. You’ll receive an email notification prompting you to update your payment method in Settings → Billing.

If a payment remains unresolved after the retry period, your account will become read-only. You’ll still be able to view your data, but article generation, auto-publishing, and other active features will be paused until a successful payment is processed.

Volume discounts for agencies

Agencies managing multiple client sites can qualify for discounts based on the number of active workspaces:

Cancelling your subscription

To cancel, go to Settings → Billing inside the app and follow the cancellation prompts. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period — you keep full access to all features until then. There are no long-term contracts and no cancellation fees.

Before cancelling, consider exporting your content and citation data from the dashboard so you have a local copy for your records.
